Two new products for your Valab® solution

Eric Rogari, CEO, VALAB

Diagnostic Validation Champion

Editor’s Note: Medical laboratories need automation tools that improve turnaround time without weakening validation quality, traceability or clinical confidence. Eric Rogari’s perspective gives healthcare technology leaders a practical view of how business intelligence and license management can strengthen laboratory performance, oversight and diagnostic decision support.

The review of results in the laboratory total testing process is a key step before the release of the medical reports. Valab®, a solution highly sensitive, robust, and sustainable, supports physicians on a daily basis, in avoiding particurlarly the release of false-negative. Indeed, Valab® ensures an efficient and secure autoverification of medical reports by filtering and alerting for critical and debatable values. This leads to harmonized medical validation, reduced errors, saved time and faster TAT (turnaround time). To date, our intelligent autoverification solution assists more of 360 structures accross 11 countries in the hard decision-making process. To continue meeting the needs of laboratories, VALAB now offers from an additional Business Intelligence (BI) module (ValView), which complements its biological validation support solution, as well as Valab® license management tool (VSP).

ValView has been designed to simplify and enhance the monitoring of your laboratory's activity. This innovative solution offers a seamless and comprehensive user experience. With just a few clicks, you can get an overview of Valab® statistical analyses, thanks to several dashboards featuring dynamic graphs and interactive tables.

Also available in ValView, the intuitive reading and easy interpretation of the evolution of various Valab® rates, accompanied by their detailed explanations (Rejection criteria), enable instant evaluation of the performance of the Valab® system.

in a more in-depth manner, ValView also allows you to see the ranking of the most frequently blocked analyses, as well as the drift in validation rates per analysis, with the option to adjust the selection parameters. At a glance, the key points that needs optimization in Valab® can be identified, enabling the expert system to be calibrated according to the specific needs of the laboratory, thus enhancing the efficiency of the automatic validation performed by Valab®.

In short, managing your laboratory's activity with VALAB's new tool has never been easier. ValView provides flexibility, real-time reactivity, ease of analysis and optimal security in monitoring your laboratory's activity, helping you to gain control and efficiency while complying with ISO 15189 standards.
